Although Mandy Moore enjoys conversing and interacting with people (as mentioned in the previous chapter), she also has a self-reliant, independent spirit. Moore can go it alone if need be because Mandy Moore likes to be a free agent. She likes to exchange ideas, but as stated below, she does not always listen.

She is a person who thrives on challenge, and she often feels that she must battle her way through life, relying on no one and nothing but her own strength, intelligence and courage.
