Although Sonny Bono comes across in a very gracious, tactful and considerate manner (as described on the previous page), he also holds some very definite points of view. Others may be surprised when they get to know Sonny and recognize his willfulness and strong opinions.

He is a freedom-loving, strong-willed and independent-minded individual, and he insists upon living his own life as he sees fit, even if it means ignoring convention and tradition. In personal relationships, Sonny Bono cannot be owned or possessed, and while he is willing to share himself with another, he does not always adjust easily to the emotional give and take of close relationships.
