Though Luciano Szafir seems quite soft and sympathetic (as mentioned in the previous chapter), deep down, he is very hardheaded and practical and Szafir can be surprisingly cool and impassive. He is caring, but at the same time rather detached and unemotional. Luciano Szafir has a knack for understanding others because he can empathize with them without getting "sucked into" their problems and concerns. For this reason, he is a good parent. Luciano can also be very shrewd in business because he can sense what others want and is clever at finding ways to market products or services that people want.
Serious, disciplined and quietly ambitious, he is driven to prove himself and to achieve material accomplishments and success. His work, his position in the world, and his contributions to society are very important to Szafir.
