John Lennon general characteristics
John Lennon's fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Lennon's "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if John is lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that he needs to consciously develop that particular aspect in order to appreciate and/or work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overestimate the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following pages.
John Lennon has a great capacity to relate to, appreciate and understand different people and points of view, and he tends to be quite liberal in his attitudes. He is primarily a thinking person who requires much intellectual and social stimulation, conversation and interaction. John Lennon comprehends abstract reasoning and concepts very quickly and he likes ideas, language and culture. Lennon cannot imagine being happy in a world without books, films or interesting relationships.
There is an androgynous quality to John, and he relates equally well to men and women, having both male and female characteristics in nearly equal measure within himself. John Lennon tends to see someone as a person first, rather than as a woman or a man.
Friendship is very important to his sense of well-being. John Lennon thrives on camaraderie, teamwork, social endeavor and sharing. However, he is also quite objective about them and there is often an impersonal touch to his relationships with others.
His mind is Lennon's real gift: thinking clearly, logically and creatively, planning and organizing efficiently, and communicating intelligently. However, John Lennon tends to "live in his head" - reading about, talking about, and observing life without becoming completely immersed in it. John should avoid becoming a dabbler. He also needs to foster constancy, stability, and depth.
As you will read in the next chapter, John Lennon expresses himself in a confident, spirited way which, combined with his verbal abilities and wit, makes John Lennon quite an entertaining and convincing interlocutor.
