Jiddu Krishnamurti motivation
Though he may appear unconventional and liberal-minded (as mentioned in the previous chapter) he also has a rather conservative, grounded, practical nature, as described below. He may feel torn at times between maintaining the status quo, or creating controversy and making waves.
His practical nature gives Jiddu Krishnamurti the capability of being very successful in business. Sometimes, however, Krishnamurti holds to his own views too obstinately and dogmatically, causing him to limit his possibilities and overlooking opportunities.
He is a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance, and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of his greatest assets. Once Krishnamurti's course is set, he pursues it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway him from his purpose.
Jiddu Krishnamurti has a very practical nature; he wants to see concrete, tangible results for his efforts, and he is not one for spinning wild dreams that are unlikely to come into fruition. Most of his "wild dreams" have to do with material achievements, well-being, and security, for he has a great love of the physical world and he wants to experience and enjoy it to the full. Though Jiddu Krishnamurti will work long and persistently, he also has a strong sensual and comfort-loving side, and he wants to enjoy what he has worked for. In fact, Krishnamurti can be enormously lazy at times and have a tendency to overindulge in good food and other earthly pleasures. Jiddu Krishnamurti also loves the beauty of the natural world and he probably prefers a serene country setting rather than an urban life style.
At heart his needs are simple and he is easy to please. Jiddu Krishnamurti has a strong desire for security, stability, and peace, and will rarely make changes unless he is forced to do so. He is not very demanding emotionally, though he does crave lots of physical closeness and affection. Because of his faithfulness, emotional steadiness, and gentle strength, others often depend upon Krishnamurti for support. Though he hates upheaval and sudden changes, Jiddu Krishnamurti usually maintains his poise and equanimity. Jiddu Krishnamurti also has an innate sense of harmonizing with nature, allowing things to grow and unfold in their own time, and the patience to nurture something into being - be it a garden, a child, or some creative project. He makes an excellent parent, especially if he follows his instincts more often than "the experts".
Jiddu has three major faults: one is his bullheaded obstinacy. The second is his unwillingness to deviate from his safe, predictable routine. And the third is Krishnamurti's tendency to always insist upon realism and undervalue the imaginative, speculative, and fanciful - in other words, Jiddu Krishnamurti lacks the ability to play with ideas and possibilities, and to open his mind to the new.
The urge to learn and to communicate is essential to Jiddu Krishnamurti, and he expresses himself very well through writing, teaching or sharing ideas and information. Krishnamurti is persuasive and fluent with language.
Restless and inquisitive, Jiddu enjoys being mobile and taking short trips and excursions in order to see for himself what is going on in the world around him.
If he is following his true nature, his life is apt to be unconventional, unusual, controversial, and full of insecurity and excitement. Jiddu Krishnamurti cannot and will not be forced into some pre-set mold, and Jiddu finds it difficult to conform. His offbeat interests and tastes lead Krishnamurti into ventures that others may consider too "far-out" or experimental. Jiddu Krishnamurti has a very creative, inventive streak.
Jiddu Krishnamurti seems to have an emotional and physical unrest and he always have to be on the move. Jiddu could find it difficult to control himself and he tends to get angry and upset easily. Eccentric and individualistic, he can create a stir wherever he goes.
