Behind Berben's rather serious, conservative demeanor (described in the previous chapter), she is quite a showman at heart. There is a much more flamboyant or outrageous side to Berben that may surface only rarely. Nevertheless, though Iris Berben seems quiet and modest, she harbors dreams that are larger than life.
