Gower Champion drive and ambition
Gower Champion avoids direct confrontation as much as possible and is uncomfortable with aggressiveness, competition and personal power. His ego drive is not very dominant and Champion is not especially ambitious or eager to push his way to the top. He may feel inadequate in situations that call for strong, forceful action. The only instance in which Gower Champion will really fight is when he senses that his loved ones - or something dear to him- are being jeopardized, in which case he is a fierce defender. Gower Champion has a very strong protective side. He acts on impulse and instinct and may lash out at anyone he perceives as threatening to Gower's home or family. However, Gower Champion will rarely initiate a confrontation. His goals also tend to be very personal and centered on family closeness and inner satisfaction rather than worldly achievement.
He is sensitive to stress and does not handle a high-pressured, competitive atmosphere very well. Gower Champion is very touchy, irritable and difficult to live with when there are many demands or stressful situations at work. His energy level varies and is very dependent on the emotional harmony (or lack thereof) in his home. A supportive partner is very instrumental in helping Champion to achieve his goals and desires.
Champion is attracted to feisty, dynamic, strong-willed people, and he seems to need a healthy dose of fireworks in his personal relationships. Gower Champion can be very combative, or get involved with people who are. Ideally Gower will join forces with people who are energetic and ambitious, but not too domineering or aggressive.
When Gower Champion wants something, he goes after it with passionate zeal and is sometimes so driven by his desire that he loses all objectivity. Gower gets so deeply involved in whatever he is pursuing that he becomes one-sided, even fanatical. Strong-willed and stubborn, Gower Champion insists on having his way no matter the cost. He is fascinated with power. Champion often tries to overpower anything or anyone he perceives as an obstacle, if not physically, then by the force of his will. Champion can be ruthless and impersonal when it comes to achieving his ambitions and goals in life. Gower Champion has enormous energy and is capable of extraordinary effort and great achievement. Champion can also become a compulsive workaholic.
Exercising self-control could be quite difficult for Gower Champion and he may often become involved in quarrels. Some of these disputes could end in violent behavior, if he is not careful. Being with others seems to put Gower in a constant state of excitement.
In order to achieve his long-range goals and ambitions, the process must be interesting and mentally stimulating, as Champion gets bored with work that is not intellectually challenging. Gower Champion needs variety and social stimulation as well. One problem he may have is saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, or to the wrong person. Gower needs to watch his words. At time, his tongue or even sense of humor can get Gower Champion in trouble with superiors.
His emotional life is likely to be strained and Gower has a tendency to be a loner. His outlook could be a bit one-sided and Gower Champion may find it hard to compromise. It is difficult for him to maintain good give-and-take relationships.
His resistance and stamina are inclined to be a bit low and Gower Champion tends to be easily influenced by others. He may leave himself open to being corrupted by others and should guard against involvement in situations that he may later regret.
