Che Guevara challenges and difficulties
Che Guevara has a critical, cynical attitude towards many religions and philosophies. Without realizing it, he prevents himself from appreciating new viewpoints and attitudes. Ernesto de la Serna is more rigid and dogmatic than he realizes. His approach may also be too intellectual or moralistic. Che Guevara takes his own political beliefs and spiritual philosophy very seriously, worrying and fretting if he is not 100% clear about some ideology or theory.
Fear of the unknown, of change, and/or of death may plague Che Guevara. He strongly resists changes and transitions rather than greeting them with curiosity or a spirit of adventure, which makes them much harder for him.
On another level entirely, Che Guevara is very careful about joining forces, and especially his material resources, with others. Ernesto de la Serna wants to keep his own and other people's property and assets very distinct.
Che Guevara tends to be his own worst enemy, demanding inhuman perfection of himself and harshly criticizing or persecuting himself when he does not measure up. Perhaps circumstances or relationships in his life have been extremely difficult and demanding, reinforcing Che Guevara's belief that he must struggle alone.
He is capable of tremendous effort and of overcoming great odds and handicaps. Through these efforts Che Guevara develops his power and inner strength. However, Che Guevara should not make life harder than it is. He must give himself permission to let up sometimes, and to realize that he is only human.
Because of his inner reserve and basic shyness, Che Guevara appears to lack adaptability and is a bit inhibited in dealing with other people. His approach is somewhat serious and it is difficult for Che Guevara to face the public.
Around others Ernesto de la Serna is somewhat humble and shy and prefer to be by himself. Che Guevara tends to limit his relationships with others and associates only with like-minded people. He is inclined to be cool and reserved even toward those he loves.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which Che Guevara instinctively and habitually reverts to when under stress - a mostly subconscious process that he is apt to over indulge in because it is so familiar and hence easy for him. The direction Che Guevara needs to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Che Guevara needs to take what he has learned (either through formal education or his own questing and life experience) and share it with others, communicate it or express it in a way that can benefit others. Knowledge and understanding, which does not enhance either Che Guevara's quality of life or that of persons in his world, is of little real value. Putting Ernesto de la Serna's understanding, philosophy, and convictions into practice in his daily relationships, and in the multiple choices he makes every day, will enable Che Guevara to really test his belief system and discover more about life.
When under stress, Che Guevara is apt to seek refuge in imagining that the grass is greener elsewhere, rather than working with what is at hand. Che Guevara needs to cultivate his ability to live in the present!
It is in his dealings with money, financial security, tangible assets and possessions that he is most likely to wrestle with these issues. The qualities described above are ones Che Guevara needs to integrate in tangible ways: how he makes a living, building assets and a secure material base, what he does with the resources he has. Che Guevara should try to avoid over involvement or entanglements with other people's money matters, legal business, and personal affairs.
He is highly emotional and tends to display his feelings in a theatrical way. Che Guevara seems to enjoy being somewhat eccentric and finds it difficult to adapt himself to others. Although he may seek emotional fulfillment, Che Guevara does not do well in relationships and team work.
Che Guevara tends to have far-reaching associations and has a strong desire to be involved with people of high society. He is likely to achieve great success through joint ventures with others and could do well in some political activity.
