Carl Jung motivation
Although Carl Jung appears to be a team player, sometimes he feels tempted to steal the limelight from others. His strong need to gain success and acclaim can lead Jung toward a role in life that is unnatural to him, but wins him popularity. Alternatively, Jung can be a leader or director who inspires others to develop their greatest potential, thereby winning praise and honor through genuine accomplishment and personal integrity: the choice is his!
He is a much warmer person and one who is much more easily hurt by criticism or lack of respect from others than his cool, rational demeanor may suggest.
Proud and intensely individual, Carl Jung really wants to stand out, to be the very best he can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for his unique contributions. Doing something well and being respected for it is extremely important to him, and he cannot tolerate being relegated to the background, taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". Carl Jung must put his personal stamp on whatever he does, and direct his own course in life. Carl Jung needs to have a place where he can shine, express himself creatively, and be the one in charge.
Carl has big dreams and the determination, spirit, vitality and enthusiasm to realize them. Carl Jung also has a noble, romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.
For Carl Jung, it is true that "the entire world's a stage" and he secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desires to be the star or hero of the play. Carl wants to be great and to receive the love and applause of an adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one other special person. He needs someone to believe in him and his dreams. Though Jung appears radiantly self-confident and independent, he is actually very dependent on the affirmation, love and recognition of others. He cannot bear going unnoticed or unappreciated.
Carl Jung also loves wholeheartedly and generously and really knows how to make the person he loves feel special. Carl Jung loves the magic of "being in love" and knows how to keep the romance alive in his relationships. He is also immensely loyal and will defend his loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never offend his pride or betray his trust. However, Carl Jung likes to be the strong one in his relationships and he really does not share the leading role very easily. Ideally, Carl needs to find a person who is as strong-willed as he is, but who will not try to dominate or compete with him.
Jung's strengths are his zest and love for life, his creative power and his warm and generous heart. His primary fault is his tendency to be very egocentric, and so concerned with the impression he is making and with his own creative self-expression that he forgets there is another, larger world that does not revolve around him.
Carl Jung invests a tremendous amount of his creative energy into his relationships with others, particularly his marriage or other close partnerships. Carl feels that he needs others in order to be all that he can be, and he is disinclined to solitary activities and endeavors.
Working with people on a one-to-one basis to bring about mutual understanding, harmony, and satisfaction is an area in which Carl Jung can really excel. Counseling or negotiating are talents of his.
Carl is extremely sensitive and imaginative, and he can get lost in his dreams, fantasies and visions. He is attracted to artistic and creative pursuits, as well as to the world of color, beauty, and emotion. Carl Jung is also drawn to mysticism and he has deep spiritual aspirations and yearnings. Gentle and peace loving, Jung may lack the will and competitive spirit needed to make his way in the world. He is often impractical and may seek to avoid or escape the harsh realities of life.
Jung might be called the eternal optimist and has a very peace-loving nature. He seems to be happy and content, generous and popular in social circles. Carl Jung also has a good sense for business and likes to carry out enterprises on a large scale.
