As described in the previous chapter, Robert De Niro instinctively protects, nurtures and supports others, and as discussed below, he loves to be a leader. The combination of these two sides of De Niro results in his being a good leader of his family, or any club or group to which he belongs. Robert De Niro treats people with a lot of personal attention and care and is appreciated as a result.

He also often takes things too personally and many times Robert De Niro thinks that things are directed at him personally when they are not.

Proud and intensely individual, Robert De Niro really wants to stand out, to be the very best he can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for his unique contributions.
