Although Richard Dreyfuss expresses himself in a lighthearted, friendly and open manner (as mentioned in the previous chapter), at heart he is much more emotionally complex and intense than he appears. Richard harbors deeper feelings and a much "darker" side than is immediately apparent. He may be torn at times between keeping things light and playful versus exploring his own emotional depths and those of others. However, Dreyfuss' light airy side and his deep, mysterious side can balance one another: he can verbalize, reflect upon and consciously understand, explain and elucidate his deepest feelings.
