Although R.L. Huggar appears gentle and sympathetic toward others (as explained in the previous chapter), he is also a "warrior". Huggar sometimes feels torn between these two facets of his character: the sensitive, tenderhearted, home-loving side, and the assertive, competitive, risk-taking side. People who first meet R.L. Huggar often think that he is a "softy", but later find out that he is strong willed and pursues his goals aggressively.
He is a person who thrives on challenge, and he often feels that he must battle his way through life, relying on no one and nothing but his own strength, intelligence and courage. R.L. Huggar believes in being totally honest, true to himself and his own vision and convictions, even if it means standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor and authenticity are Huggar's gods, and he has no sympathy for weakness of character in others.
R.L. Huggar craves the freedom to do things in his own way, and he works very well independently. Cooperating with others or carrying out another's will is not his style. RL likes to be the chief - or to go it alone.
R.L. Huggar loves action and if others are settling down into a nice, comfortable little rut, then he is always ready to stir things up, do something new, make changes and introduce some fresh blood. Appearing successful and attractive to the public is important to him. R.L. Huggar probably enjoys wearing stylish clothes and modern jewelry. He tends to seek admiration from others and social acceptance is necessary to RL's well-being.
Huggar seems to lack self-confidence and has a sense of anxiety and insecurity that has no obvious cause. R.L. Huggar tends to withdraw and his outlook in general could be a bit too negative. R.L. Huggar should beware of letting his emotional tension react to his physical well-being.
