George Hamilton motivation
As described in the previous chapter, George Hamilton instinctively protects, nurtures and supports others, and as discussed below, he loves to be a leader. The combination of these two sides of Hamilton results in his being a good leader of his family, or any club or group to which he belongs. George Hamilton treats people with a lot of personal attention and care and is appreciated as a result.
He also often takes things too personally and many times George Hamilton thinks that things are directed at him personally when they are not.
Behind Hamilton's rather gentle, soft appearance he is very willful and stubborn, a surprise to people as they get to know him better.
Proud and intensely individual, George Hamilton really wants to stand out, to be the very best he can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for his unique contributions. Doing something well and being respected for it is extremely important to him, and he cannot tolerate being relegated to the background, taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". George Hamilton must put his personal stamp on whatever he does, and direct his own course in life. George Hamilton needs to have a place where he can shine, express himself creatively, and be the one in charge.
George has big dreams and the determination, spirit, vitality and enthusiasm to realize them. George Hamilton also has a noble, romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.
For George Hamilton, it is true that "the entire world's a stage" and he secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desires to be the star or hero of the play. George wants to be great and to receive the love and applause of an adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one other special person. He needs someone to believe in him and his dreams. Though Hamilton appears radiantly self-confident and independent, he is actually very dependent on the affirmation, love and recognition of others. He cannot bear going unnoticed or unappreciated.
George Hamilton also loves wholeheartedly and generously and really knows how to make the person he loves feel special. George Hamilton loves the magic of "being in love" and knows how to keep the romance alive in his relationships. He is also immensely loyal and will defend his loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never offend his pride or betray his trust. However, George Hamilton likes to be the strong one in his relationships and he really does not share the leading role very easily. Ideally, George needs to find a person who is as strong-willed as he is, but who will not try to dominate or compete with him.
Hamilton's strengths are his zest and love for life, his creative power and his warm and generous heart. His primary fault is his tendency to be very egocentric, and so concerned with the impression he is making and with his own creative self-expression that he forgets there is another, larger world that does not revolve around him.
Ownership gives George Hamilton a sense of security, and he has a strong attachment to his possessions. George also has a natural instinct or understanding of economics, finance, trade, and appraising the value of merchandise.
George Hamilton tends to see things from his perspective only and to be rather subjective. He also enjoys talking and expressing his views but does not always listen as well. George Hamilton has a clear mind, a love of learning and new experiences, and he needs constant mental stimulation and activity.
George Hamilton is loving and well loved by others, and has a strong need for relationships that offer kindness, friendship and affection. His artistic and creative powers are also well developed and George does everything in a harmonious, gracious, pleasing manner. Aesthetics are very important to Hamilton, as are his personal appearance and attractiveness.
Impulsive, restless and spontaneous, his life is apt to be somewhat unstable and full of sudden changes. George Hamilton is extremely independent and craves excitement, adventure, freedom and discovery. Hamilton has a rebellious streak and he often feels he is unusual and different from society's mainstream. The unorthodox and the novel appeal to him.
