Although George Clooney appears to be very fluid and impressionable (as mentioned in the previous chapter), he is basically very well grounded and realistic. While open to others' points of view, he is not as flexible or receptive as initially presumed. Inside, he is much firmer and more obstinate.

He is a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of his greatest assets. Once Clooney's course is set, he pursues it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway him from his purpose.
