Because she is supportive and nurturing (as mentioned in the previous chapter), and also practical and well grounded (as described below), Cher is a great source of solace and emotional support for other people. Cher is actually more stable and solid than her rather mellow demeanor would suggest.

She is a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of her greatest assets. Once Cherilyn LaPiere's course is set, she pursues it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway her from her purpose.

Cher has a very practical nature; she wants to see concrete, tangible results for her efforts, and she is not one to concoct wild dreams that are unlikely to come into fruition. Most of her "wild dreams" have to do with material achievements, well-being and security, for she has a great love of the physical world and she wants to experience and enjoy it to the full.
