Behind Nielsen's strong, proud appearance (described in the previous chapter), there is a very tender, sensitive, sentimental, feeling person. She is probably much shyer and more private than initially presumed.

Brigitte has powerful emotional attachments to the past, her family, her childhood, places she associates with safety and security, and her beginnings. It is very important to Nielsen to maintain a connection with her roots and heritage and keep family bonds strong. Brigitte Nielsen has a strong need for intellectual relationships and associations and she likes to share her intellectual interests with others. This could be in meetings or by joining various clubs and organizations.
