Billy Corgan

Billy Corgan often senses a conflict between his discriminating, analytical, critical side (described in the previous chapter), and his tolerant, forgiving side (described below). Consequently, Corgan tends to seesaw - at times criticizing and correcting others while at others, forgiving them for the most egregious errors and inadequacies. Billy Corgan should strive to find a balance between clarity and justice on the one hand, and mercy and compassion on the other.
Corgan's urge to serve, help and improve the life of others is strong, and he is quite willing to make personal sacrifices to do so.
At heart he is very gentle, impressionable and receptive - a dreamer. The world of his imagination, feelings, and intuition is as real to Billy Corgan as anything in the outer world, though he may have trouble verbalizing or interpreting his inner experiences in a way others can understand. Mystical, artistic, musical, emotional and imaginative, he has a rich inner life, though Corgan may seem rather unobtrusive and quiet outwardly. Billy Corgan usually keeps to himself.

His faults include a tendency to be lazy and negligent, and to wallow in self-pity rather than take strong, definite action to change his life for the better.
