Warren Buffett drive and ambition
Warren Buffett avoids direct confrontation as much as possible and is uncomfortable with aggressiveness, competition and personal power. His ego drive is not very dominant and Buffett is not especially ambitious or eager to push his way to the top. He may feel inadequate in situations that call for strong, forceful action. The only instance in which Warren Buffett will really fight is when he senses that his loved ones - or something dear to him- are being jeopardized, in which case he is a fierce defender. Warren Buffett has a very strong protective side. He acts on impulse and instinct and may lash out at anyone he perceives as threatening to Warren's home or family. However, Warren Buffett will rarely initiate a confrontation. His goals also tend to be very personal and centered on family closeness and inner satisfaction rather than worldly achievement.
He is sensitive to stress and does not handle a high-pressured, competitive atmosphere very well. Warren Buffett is very touchy, irritable and difficult to live with when there are many demands or stressful situations at work. His energy level varies and is very dependent on the emotional harmony (or lack thereof) in his home. A supportive partner is very instrumental in helping Buffett to achieve his goals and desires.
Warren Buffett meets numerous challenges and possibly defeats in pursuit of his goals and desires, and his setbacks often occur because Warren has been too rash or intent on working his own will regardless of the impact on others. Warren Buffett is intense and passionate, and simply does not know when to stop sometimes! Recklessness with others can be a problem for Buffett.
Warren Buffett struggles with feelings of discouragement, self-doubt, and the sense that life is a constant uphill battle. He is also prone to suppressing his feelings - especially aggressive or angry ones. This could lead to chronic resentment and bitterness, which actually undermines Buffett's goal far more than openly expressing his anger would.
On the positive side, Warren Buffett is capable of immense patience, endurance and tireless effort in order to attain his goals and desires. Warren Buffett seems to have to work very hard, and without much outside help. However, if he can avoid a negative attitude and keep "plugging along", Buffett will achieve something substantial. Moreover, he is much more effective when working for someone else.
Unlike some who have hopes and fantasies, Buffett is a person who tries to live out these dreams, no matter how impractical or fantastic they seem. Warren Buffett has a quixotic, idealistic streak. He may be more inspired to work for some higher cause than simply for his own personal achievement.
Warren Buffett has a strong desire for public attention and the need to be important. Warren wants to be recognized for his efforts and wants to be in a leading role. He is willing to cooperate and enjoys team work as the leader of a group.
He is very sensitive to the inner qualities of sincerity, honesty, integrity and good will. Warren Buffett notices these qualities (or the lack thereof) more quickly than others and brings them up frequently. He is philosophical about life and very perceptive, but may have an exaggerated sense of his own wisdom and depth of understanding of religious, metaphysical, artistic, or intuitive subjects.
Positions of honor, affluence, influence, and stature in his community can be his. Warren Buffett feels he has a destiny which involves leadership or distinguishing himself in some line of endeavor. Warren possesses an innate sense of greatness or importance, and a strong drive to achieve recognition for his talent. Warren Buffett should avoid excessive egotism and arrogant pride, for these could limit his opportunities.
His attunement to the intangible or unseen world is very strong. Thus, Warren's drive and ambitions in life are apt to be colored by his subtle awareness, his mystical or intuitive sensitivity. Imagination, "make believe", creative fantasy, and the ability to visualize may be aspects of his career, also. Warren Buffett has the ability to "channel" healing or inspirational messages.
He may have to overcome something in his background or personal past in order to achieve his long-range goals and ambitions. Sometimes Warren Buffett is apt to feel pulled in two different directions - what others expect of him or what he needs to do to progress, versus what his old conditioning or his emotional predisposition would have him do. Overcoming the pull of the past is the key.
His profession could involve physical strength and prowess, such as athletics, fire fighting, law enforcement, or the military. Warren Buffett would never be happy in a quiet, sit-down job. Vigorous competition and strenuous work are undoubtedly key components of both what Warren Buffett does and how he achieves his long-range goals.
He is inclined to be a bit eccentric, and difficulties in his relationships with his family members or friends may cause Buffett to feel depressed and alone frequently. Warren may be drawn more to older people.
