Though Vin Diesel seems powerful and intense in a quiet sort of way (as mentioned in the previous chapter), he is really quite soft, sentimental and vulnerable inside.

Vin has powerful emotional attachments to the past, his family, his childhood, places he associates with safety and security, and his beginnings. It is very important to Diesel to maintain a connection with his roots and heritage and keep family bonds strong. Loyal, devoted, and sentimental, Diesel tends to cling to whatever is dear to him - be it a person, a familiar place, or a cherished possession.
