V. Gene Robinson

Though V. Gene Robinson cares very much about his dignity and the way he is perceived by others (as described on the previous page), he has a very mischievous, playful side that pokes fun of anyone who takes himself too seriously (including himself!). Also, though his great loyalty was highlighted in the previous chapter, fortunately he is also flexible and playful, so he does not allow his commitments to become too burdensome.

V. Gene Robinson is, in many ways, an eternal child. His mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful and always eager for new experiences - and his attention span is often quite brief. Robinson grasps ideas quickly and once his initial curiosity has been satisfied, he is ready to move on. V. Gene Robinson craves frequent change and variety, as well as new situations and people.

It may be hard for V. Gene Robinson to decide just where his talents and true vocation lie, for he has a multitude of interests and is loathe limiting himself by concentrating on just one. He is easily distracted by all of the other fascinating possibilities. His curiosity and restlessness propel Gene toward many different experiences in life, and he is willing to taste or try anything once. Doing the same thing over and over again, even if it is something he does well, is tantamount to drudgery for Robinson.

V. Gene Robinson feels that he has the support of his family or others in his environment for his creative efforts and personal goals, which enables him to act with confidence. He is able to satisfy both his need to be an individual and his need for caring relationships and a sense of belonging. He is in harmony with himself and is therefore an effective individual.

V. Gene Robinson has a healthy amount of self-control and self-discipline. Robinson also radiates a rather responsible, trustworthy, solid feeling about himself which will win him the confidence of others, especially his superiors.

V. Gene Robinson undergoes deep, transformative changes in his life with relative ease and a minimum of conscious resistance. Because he does not avoid the depths, Robinson has access to a lot of personal power and strength. Without realizing it or seeking it, Gene is apt to have quite a potent effect on the people he comes into contact with, even superficially. Others sense that V. Gene Robinson is a force to be reckoned with.
