Tony Blair mental interests and abilities
Outspoken and direct, he is always eager to express his ideas and opinions and does not mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. Tony has fresh, original ideas and a great deal of enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, he is interested in another new idea or project. Tony Blair never seems to have enough time to do everything he wants. He is very honest, speaks decisively and convincingly about things he believes in, and is unable to pretend to agree with someone if he honestly does not. He may be somewhat lacking in tact.
Tony does not speak up readily, even when he has a lot to say! Also, his mind tends to drift and Blair finds it difficult to study very factual material that does not have much color or imaginative appeal. His intuition and first impressions are likely to be quite accurate, however, and Tony Blair tends to depend upon this faculty in making decisions.
Tony Blair scrutinizes, analyzes, dissects and critically assesses ideas before accepting them. He may seem judgmental, serious and unreceptive to others' thoughts, particularly if they are frivolous or poorly thought out. He prefers substantial conversation to superficial, meaningless banter. Tony Blair generally thinks carefully and thoroughly before speaking and he wishes that others would do the same! Communication problems, like extreme reticence, stuttering or difficulties with interpersonal relationships may well be challenges for him.
Although Tony Blair's thinking is precise and logical, as described above, at times Blair can be quite the opposite. There may very well be periods of absentmindedness, building castles in the air, or ruminating over mystical, abstract or imponderable subjects, as discussed below.
His mind is intuitive, imaginative, colorful and strongly influenced by imagery or fantasy. Blair sees the world with the eyes of an artist or a poet, and the hard sciences, as well as fields of endeavor based on concrete facts, rules or rigorous logic, are not Blair's forte. At times he is able to perceive things that other people cannot - e.g. the "aura" of a place or a person - while at others, Tony Blair apparently does not see and/or overlooks things that are blatantly obvious to others. One problem Tony Blair is prone to is that he projects his fantasies, wishes and dreams onto other people or external circumstances and simply fails to see what is actually at stake.
Intellectually oriented, Tony Blair comprehends things rapidly and is able to assess every situation just as quickly. At times Blair can also be impulsive and have a tendency to criticize others. He may enjoy riddles and the participation in quiz shows.
