The Great Khali
The Great Khali has frequent emotional outbursts due to his fiery temper and emotional impulsiveness. Giant Singh expresses himself very directly and honestly and no one has to guess what his true feelings are. However, The Great Khali dislikes showing any personal weakness or his need for support, comfort and nurturing. He is often impatient with himself and others. Great Khali abhors emotional dependency and dislikes "complainers".
The Great Khali inspires others to take positive action in their lives through his own enthusiasm and eagerness to meet life's challenges, and he is attracted to people who are adventurous, courageous and independent. Great Khali is rather bossy but does not like to be with people that he can boss around too much. He enjoys a good fight sometimes. Relationships that are built on mutual respect and emotional freedom are ideal for Giant Singh.
The Great Khali becomes very cross if he lacks vigorous physical activity. Giant Singh feels his best if he frequently "does battle" on the tennis or racquetball court (or engages in another form of competitive sport).
He is emotionally expressive and often dramatizes his feelings by acting them out or blowing them out of proportion. The Great Khali cannot hide his instinctive emotional reactions to people or situations, and he does not make any pretenses about his personal sympathies or antipathies.
The Great Khali has a childlike openness and playfulness that is very appealing to others but sometimes gets him into trouble, as Great Khali takes risks on an impulse or a whim.
The Great Khali tends to be touchy, defensive and rather territorial, and if he perceives a threat to his family or home or personal safety, he can be quite aggressive. Sometimes Great Khali feels out of sorts and hostile for no apparent reason, and this is usually due to unexpressed, unresolved anger from the past. The Great Khali also has a desire to lead, to compete, or to be a free agent - and he is not entirely conscious of this desire. It is good for Giant Singh to have benign outlets and ways to let off steam on a regular basis, such as demanding physical work or athletics. Otherwise The Great Khali may be rather hard to live with, even abusive in his relationships.
Although The Great Khali was portrayed above as being assertive and combative, he also has a diametrically opposed tendency - namely the urge to escape all contention and ugliness. This may mellow Great Khali's fiery reactions somewhat, or he may seesaw between the two. His softer side is described in the following paragraphs.
The beauty and harmony of his surroundings have a very powerful effect on Giant Singh's emotions. He is very sensitive and cannot stand to be in an atmosphere where there is discord or dissonance. Gentle, kindhearted, and peace loving, The Great Khali is prepared to sacrifice a great deal in order to avoid a fight and to "make everyone happy".
The Great Khali has a great interest in everything and everyone around him and is constantly looking for people with whom he can establish deep inner relationships. His judgments are based on his personal feelings and he has a strong need to be with others.
The Great Khali has a good-natured disposition and an affectionate and cordial manner. Charming, optimistic and outgoing, he is warm and friendly to everyone he meets. Giant Singh is at peace with the world and want to share his feelings with his friends and acquaintances.
The Great Khali tends to be emotional inhibited when he is with others and therefore appear rather aloof. Although he may feel lonely, Great Khali is inclined to flee from crowds of people and to give the impression of needing protection.
The Great Khali tends to go to extremes to be different or to preserve his freedom, and his nature is rather thoughtless, impatient and restless. He is daring and audacious, ambitious and determined, but feels that things can only be accomplished by using force.
Sensitive and sentimental, The Great Khali is deeply attached to his family, old friends, familiar places and the past. He is romantic and tender in love relationships, and it is of utmost importance to Giant Singh to remember birthdays, anniversaries, family rituals and other personally significant days. The Great Khali seeks caring, emotional support, and security in his love relationships. Great Khali likes to be needed, as well as to cherish and protect his loved ones, of whom he is somewhat possessive.
The Great Khali craves very intense, deep, emotional relationships, and would even prefer stormy, tumultuous relationships to ones that are calm but lack vitality and passion. Great Khali loves wholeheartedly and expects all-consuming, total devotion and attention from his partner. Casual, light relationships hold no appeal for Giant Singh.
His love feelings are easily aroused and his romantic relationships begin with a sudden electric attraction, but they often end abruptly, and Giant Singh may be in and out of love relationships - especially in his younger years. The Great Khali craves emotional excitement and needs to feel spontaneous and free, so he may avoid making firm personal commitments. Unusual or nontraditional forms of love and relationships appeal to Giant Singh, and he is attracted to unique, creative or unstable people.
Chronically discontented, he is likely to be somewhat unstable in matters of love relationships and affection. The Great Khali tends to be on the defensive and fear rejection and lack of acceptance. Great Khali has to learn to overcome his fears and general shyness with people.
