Although Shannon O'Brien approaches life with curiosity and a willingness to learn and try new things (as stated in the previous chapter), at heart she is much more stable and reliable than she appears. O'Brien is, in fact, quite solid though she can leave the impression of being rather changeable. She is also not quite as flexible and adaptable as one might assume initially. O'Brien can act silly or experiment with a lot of different things, but does not lose perspective or balance.

She is a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of her greatest assets.
