Inside, she is quite different from what her freewheeling, confident, playful demeanor (mentioned in the previous chapter) would suggest. Although Hayek likes to theorize and speculate and dream big dreams, she is basically clearheaded and practical. However, Salma Hayek also worries and frets a great deal, although others may not know this from her jovial demeanor.

At heart Salma Hayek is modest and humble and rarely strives to be in the limelight or in a position of power.
