Although Ronaldinho Gaúcho enjoys conversing and interacting with people (as mentioned in the previous chapter), he also has a self-reliant, independent spirit. Ronaldinho can go it alone if need be because Ronaldinho Gaúcho likes to be a free agent. He likes to exchange ideas, but as stated below, he does not always listen.

He is a person who thrives on challenge, and he often feels that he must battle his way through life, relying on no one and nothing but his own strength, intelligence and courage. Ronaldinho Gaúcho believes in being totally honest, true to himself and his own vision and convictions, even if it means standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor and authenticity are Ronaldinho's gods, and he has no sympathy for weakness of character in others.
