Though Paz Vega seems rather dreamy, fluid, and impressionable (as mentioned in the previous chapter), she is actually very realistic and well grounded. Her compassion and receptivity to others' feelings discussed earlier is balanced by a rather pragmatic, businesslike, no-nonsense aspect to her character, as described below.
