Though Morgan Freeman seems rather cautious and conservative (as discussed in the previous chapter), he has a much more playful, humorous side as well. Moreover, the combination of his attention to detail and cautious, circumspect approach to life, coupled with his youthful curiosity and quick mind makes Morgan mentally sharp, articulate and clever.

Morgan Freeman is, in many ways, an eternal child. His mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful and always eager for new experiences - and his attention span is often quite brief. Freeman grasps ideas quickly and once his initial curiosity has been satisfied, he is ready to move on. Morgan Freeman craves frequent change and variety, as well as new situations and people.

Morgan Freeman is philosophically inclined and concerned with seeking answers to the big questions of life or getting an overall picture of any situation. Abstract concepts and/or plans for the future occupy his mind much of the time.

Emotionally, it could be difficult for Morgan Freeman to discern illusion from reality. He is impressionable and sympathetic toward others. However, Freeman tends to idealize others and could adopt a fantasy view of a wonderful marriage, causing disappointment later on.
