Melissa Etheridge's fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Fortunately, as you will read in the next chapter, Melissa Etheridge does have a sense of realism and caution that prevents her great vision from becoming too grandiose, impractical or pretentious.
