Behind Taylor's tolerant, sympathetic and nonjudgmental demeanor (described in the previous chapter), Taylor can be rather opinionated and staunchly devoted to a particular cause or set of beliefs, as discussed below. Leigh Taylor-Young confronts abusive power, tyranny and dominating people who will teach her about power and eventually force Taylor to claim her own.

Appearing successful and attractive to the public is important to her. Leigh Taylor-Young probably enjoys wearing stylish clothes and modern jewelry. She tends to seek admiration from others and social acceptance is necessary to Leigh's well-being.
