Jane Russell avoids direct confrontation as much as possible and is uncomfortable with aggressiveness, competition and personal power. Her ego drive is not very dominant and Russell is not especially ambitious or eager to push her way to the top. She may feel inadequate in situations that call for strong, forceful action. The only instance in which Jane Russell will really fight is when she senses that her loved ones - or something dear to him- are being jeopardized, in which case she is a fierce defender. Exercising self-control could be quite difficult for Jane Russell and she may often become involved in quarrels. Some of these disputes could end in violent behavior, if she is not careful. Being with others seems to put Jane in a constant state of excitement.

Jane Russell really wants to leave her mark on the world in some way, to achieve stature and recognition for her contributions, and she is not willing to take a back seat - at least not for very long. In order to achieve her aims, though, Jane Russell will have to compromise and "give" more than she may be willing to. Thus, conflicts with others, particularly important men in her life, may arise. To accomplish her goals, Jane may have to set aside some of her self-centeredness, and learn from these men! However, Jane Russell may also be required at some point to make a break in order to hold her own and fulfill her own destiny.

Russell is intensely competitive and may engage in furious battles of will, numerous conflicts, and possible public controversy on the road toward meeting her objectives. Jane Russell may be drawn to activities that are dangerous - in the line of fire, so to speak. She puts herself on the line. Anger or recklessness could be her downfall.
