Although James Cameron comes across as a very private, somewhat wary and enigmatic individual (as described on the previous page), there is another, quite different side to him: a person who really wants to be noticed, known, loved and admired.

Proud and intensely individual, James Cameron really wants to stand out, to be the very best he can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for his unique contributions. Doing something well and being respected for it is extremely important to him, and he cannot tolerate being relegated to the background, taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". James Cameron must put his personal stamp on whatever he does, and direct his own course in life. James Cameron needs to have a place where he can shine, express himself creatively, and be the one in charge.

James has big dreams and the determination, spirit, vitality and enthusiasm to realize them. James Cameron also has a noble, romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.

For James Cameron, it is true that "the entire world's a stage" and he secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desires to be the star or hero of the play. James wants to be great and to receive the love and applause of an adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one other special person. He needs someone to believe in him and his dreams. Though Cameron appears radiantly self-confident and independent, he is actually very dependent on the affirmation, love and recognition of others. He cannot bear going unnoticed or unappreciated.

James Cameron also loves wholeheartedly and generously and really knows how to make the person he loves feel special. His primary fault is his tendency to be very egocentric, and so concerned with the impression he is making and with his own creative self-expression that he forgets there is another, larger world that does not revolve around him.

His career, reputation and public image are very important to Cameron. James Cameron has a strong desire to be influential or make his mark on the world. He is not satisfied with the personal sphere alone; his ambitions include making a major contribution and receiving broad recognition for his unique effort and gifts. James Cameron may undervalue the personal or inner facet of life.

James Cameron tends to see things from his perspective only and to be rather subjective. He also enjoys talking and expressing his views but does not always listen as well. James Cameron has a clear mind, a love of learning and new experiences, and he needs constant mental stimulation and activity.

There is an ongoing, subtle conflict within James Cameron between his conscious attitudes and aspirations and his deeper emotional and subconscious beliefs, needs and feelings. Along with his energy and drive, James Cameron has high ideals and an active fantasy life. There is a dreamer and an idealist in Cameron, as well as a doer and a fighter. James wants to win but not at the expense of others, and this may be somewhat of a dilemma for him.

He is very open and receptive to the spiritual, intangible, and subtle realms, and can easily receive or give conscious guidance based on his inner attunement. Inwardly he is zealous and fanatical, though he may hide his personal desires and intentions, as well as the intensity of his feelings. He is driven by a deep inner sense of destiny and mission and an almost compulsive desire for personal recognition. James is infatuated with power, incredibly willful and stubbornly fixated on achieving greatness or being someone Special. James Cameron tends to worship heroes who have powerful personal magnetism and charisma, and he often seeks to emulate them. James has potential for tremendous good or tremendous evil.
