Hu Jintao motivation
In addition to being a self-reliant go-getter (as described on the previous page), he is also a philosopher and entrepreneur with big ideas and grand dreams. Hu Jintao believes in absolute honesty and truthfulness, even when it hurts someone! At times Jintao can be evangelical or preachy in his enthusiasm to share his convictions with others. He is quite a fireball, and whether it is a set of beliefs or a favorite football team, Jintao tends to be downright religious about it!
He is a gambler and an adventurer at heart, one who loves to take risks, to discover and explore new worlds, and to travel the untried path rather than the safe, reliable one. He is independent, freedom loving, and often very restless. He needs a lifestyle that provides opportunities for travel, movement, change, and meeting new people. A steady routine, which offers much in the way of security but little in the way of space and freedom, is odious to him.
To Hu Jintao, life is a journey and an adventure that is endlessly interesting and rich with possibilities, and it may be difficult for him to decide where to focus his attention and efforts. Hu Jintao probably traveled around and experimented with many different paths before he settled on a particular career. Or he may go from one project to the next, for once the challenge and vital interest is gone, he is very quick to move on. Commitment, discipline, focus and concentration are not his strong points. Jintao can be irresponsible and disinclined to take on the burdens and limitations of adult life.
An incurable optimist, he has big dreams, aspirations and hopes for the future and is usually engaged in pursuing a far-off goal. Hu Jintao has a great deal of faith and trust in life and failures do not crush his spirit. Jintao always bounces back from disappointments, often with another bright dream or scheme. Hu Jintao has a sporting, playful attitude toward life and he is philosophical about his mistakes. Hu has the ability to sense future trends, to see the big picture, and he likes to theorize and speculate. However, he gets annoyed with all the details and practical requirements required to implement his theories.
Jintao expresses himself in a very open, direct and straightforward manner and is often blunt and tactless as well. Because he does not take himself too seriously, he may not realize how deeply his candid statements can wound more sensitive souls. In fact, though he may not realize it, Hu's insensitivity and lack of understanding regarding others' feelings is probably one of his worst faults.
Hu Jintao enjoys being in close relationships but also needs freedom and he does not do well with a possessive, clinging, or emotionally demanding partner. He is quite generous, and heartily dislikes pettiness in others. Someone who shares his ideals, his sense of fun and his zest for life would be the right companion for Jintao.
Jintao is very attracted to world travel, foreign cultures and studies that expand his intellectual horizons and broaden his understanding of the world.
Hu Jintao is philosophically inclined and concerned with seeking answers to the big questions of life or getting an overall picture of any situation. Abstract concepts and/or plans for the future occupy his mind much of the time.
At times Hu Jintao may feel an uncontrollable urge to radically alter his direction in life or to act in ways that seem eccentric or at least highly atypical. When his life becomes too predictable, Hu may do something to upset the status quo, sometimes without realizing why or how he is doing it. These impulses may seem at odds with his conscious intent and desires for himself, and can be unsettling. However, there is a streak of unconventionality and creative genius in Hu Jintao that needs to be expressed now and then.
Hu is extremely sensitive and imaginative, and he can get lost in his dreams, fantasies and visions. He is attracted to artistic and creative pursuits, as well as to the world of color, beauty, and emotion. Hu Jintao is also drawn to mysticism and he has deep spiritual aspirations and yearnings. Gentle and peace loving, Jintao may lack the will and competitive spirit needed to make his way in the world. He is often impractical and may seek to avoid or escape the harsh realities of life.
His comprehension is exceptional and Hu Jintao reacts to everything very quickly. Jintao shows deep respect for knowledge and feels that he must learn everything there is to know. Studying probably was encouraged early on and Hu Jintao was raised to be successful.
