Although Hillary Clinton expresses herself in a lighthearted, friendly and open manner (as mentioned in the previous chapter), at heart she is much more emotionally complex and intense than she appears. Hillary harbors deeper feelings and a much "darker" side than is immediately apparent. She may be torn at times between keeping things light and playful versus exploring her own emotional depths and those of others. Hillary never takes things at face value and is always probing beneath the surface of people and situations to discover what is really going on.
