Although Eric Snow appears to be very fluid and impressionable (as mentioned in the previous chapter), he is basically very well grounded and realistic. While open to others' points of view, he is not as flexible or receptive as initially presumed. Inside, he is much firmer and more obstinate.
He is a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of his greatest assets. Once Snow's course is set, he pursues it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway him from his purpose.
Eric Snow has a very practical nature; he wants to see concrete, tangible results for his efforts, and he is not one to concoct wild dreams that are unlikely to come into fruition. Most of his "wild dreams" have to do with material achievements, well-being and security, for he has a great love of the physical world and he wants to experience and enjoy it to the full.
