Drake Bell seems much more objective, unemotional and matter-of-fact than he really is. Despite his fussiness and perfectionism (described in the previous chapter), he is actually very caring and loving. Drake Bell needs to make sure to openly express his feelings because otherwise, others do not realize how much he cares about them.
Drake has powerful emotional attachments to the past, his family, his childhood, places he associates with safety and security, and his beginnings. It is very important to Bell to maintain a connection with his roots and heritage and keep family bonds strong. Loyal, devoted, and sentimental, Bell tends to cling to whatever is dear to him - be it a person, a familiar place, or a cherished possession.
He is sympathetic, nurturing, supportive and very sensitive to the emotional needs of other people. Drake likes to be needed and to care for others, and he often worries about the people he loves. Drake Bell has a very strong need for a sense of belonging and acceptance, and much of his life centers on his home. Drake Bell is extremely sensitive, compassionate and giving, often to his own detriment. His ideals and spiritual values motivate Drake Bell, and he cannot live for personal gain or materialistic concerns alone. There must be an element of beauty, magic, imagination, inspiration or creativity in what he does. Otherwise Drake Bell becomes listless and aimless. The arts, theater, music and/or charitable work are ideally suited to Drake.
Drake Bell deeply believes in his own power and his ability to survive any change and emerge victorious from any difficulty. Drake has tremendous inner resources and strength. Intense, strong willed, and zealous, he pursues his desires and goals with complete dedication and singleness of purpose, and he may be somewhat compulsive and even fanatical at times. Drake likes to live intensely and has no respect for people who are weak or avoid confronting life and their own destiny.
His physical energy is strong and Drake Bell is able to make an extra effort and work quite hard at any task he wants to do. Bell can act quickly and he gets a great deal accomplished in a hurry. But Drake Bell also has a tendency to be reckless and accident-prone.
