Debra Paget challenges and difficulties
Debra has an innate distrust of groups and/or a cynical attitude toward society that may leave her feeling out of step and unable to participate in activities with her peers. Overcoming a sense of aloofness and alienation from others is an important task for Paget.
It may be difficult for Debra Paget to play spontaneously or just let her hair down, for she tends to inhibit that side of her by being too self-conscious and concerned with the impression she is making.
Debra may work very hard at some sport or creative medium in order to excel, for she wants very, very much to be noticed, acknowledged and recognized as special in some way. Though she may indeed be outstanding, Debra Paget also needs to learn to relax and enjoy herself more.
At times Debra Paget struggles with nebulous worries, insecurities and fears that may be difficult to pinpoint. Mostly, she may be afraid of getting acquainted with the inner workings of her mind and soul, feeling uneasy with anything irrational or intangible. Debra Paget has to work hard to overcome being overly serious regarding the spiritual side of life, especially if her religious upbringing emphasized guilt and retribution. Reorienting herself in the direction of spiritual optimism will do much to lift the cloud of worry that settles over Debra occasionally.
She is quite cool and reserved in matters of love relationships and tends to hold back her inclination for love. Somewhat inhibited with regard to relationships, Debra Paget is inclined to feel that she is better off staying by herself.
Although Debra Paget is generally happy, at times she could become somewhat inhibited and because of this, she may occasionally let good opportunities slip by. Although she is interested in people, Paget also tends to periodically seek seclusion.
Debra tries to build her life on solid ground, but may find it difficult to move forward because she always tends to look back. This could result in feelings of inferiority and periodic depression.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which Debra Paget instinctively and habitually reverts to when under stress - a mostly subconscious process that she is apt to over indulge in because it is so familiar and hence easy for her. The direction Debra Paget needs to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Debra Paget's path lies in cultivating idealism and humanitarian feelings, being concerned with how Paget's actions impact the world at large, perhaps becoming more aware of the social implications of Paget's life style and personal choices or becoming active politically. Participating in organizations that support Paget's ideals is one way to do this.
When under stress she is likely to become overly focused on herself and her own little world.
Instead of "how will this benefit or hurt me?" Paget's focus needs to shift to "how will this affect us all?".
Ideally, Debra Paget needs to strike a balance between doing for herself and doing for others, by discovering how Paget's unique gifts can benefit others.
The arena she is most likely to wrestle with these issues is in playful self-expression, games or sports, and creativity. Debra Paget should try to develop any artistic, expressive, creative potentials she feels she possesses, utilizing the qualities described above.
The specific habits which are likely to hold Debra Paget back, or which she is prone to overdo, especially during stressful periods, include:
Being excessively egocentric or proud, needing personal recognition and applause, wanting to be center stage all the time, needing to be important and special.
