David Tennant challenges and difficulties
Tennant either overvalues or undervalues his possessions and assets. He can also go to extremes in dealing with bodily needs and desires, being either hedonistic or ascetic. David Tennant may deny himself sensual pleasure and enjoyment of the fruits of his labors. He may also be stingy and unable to give freely. Many times David Tennant feels that he does not have "enough" to make him feel secure, regardless of how much (money, insurance, etc.) he has!
Tennant is generally not a "joiner" and he does not feel comfortable in clubs, organizations or other groups of people that are centered on some common ideal or interest. If David Tennant does participate in a group, he may find the rules and procedures restrictive - or he may simply feel that he does not fit in with the others.
Being alone or with older, more experienced people suits David Tennant better than being with groups of his own peers.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which David Tennant instinctively and habitually reverts to when under stress - a mostly subconscious process that he is apt to over indulge in because it is so familiar and hence easy for him. The direction David Tennant needs to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
David Tennant's path lies in cultivating idealism and humanitarian feelings, being concerned with how Tennant's actions impact the world at large, perhaps becoming more aware of the social implications of Tennant's life style and personal choices or becoming active politically. Participating in organizations that support Tennant's ideals is one way to do this.
When under stress he is likely to become overly focused on himself and his own little world.
Instead of "how will this benefit or hurt me?" Tennant's focus needs to shift to "how will this affect us all?".
Ideally, David Tennant needs to strike a balance between doing for himself and doing for others, by discovering how Tennant's unique gifts can benefit others.
It is in relationships that are more than superficial or casual - in particular in cases where David Tennant has merged emotionally, legally, or financially with another person - that he is most likely to wrestle with these issues. Tennant will see these issues arise in close partnerships of any kind, especially when there is a mutual dependency involved. Dealing with in-laws, inheritances, and legal matters involving joint custody, shared assets, and resources is also a part of this.
