Although Chelsea Clinton has very strong feelings and often reacts to situations passionately (as described on the previous page), she is basically very tender and softhearted. There are at least two sides to Clinton: a rather jealous and guarded side, and a much more lenient, generous and forgiving side (discussed below).

At heart she is very gentle, impressionable and receptive - a dreamer. The world of her imagination, feelings, and intuition is as real to Chelsea Clinton as anything in the outer world, though she may have trouble verbalizing or interpreting her inner experiences in a way others can understand. Mystical, artistic, musical, emotional and imaginative, she has a rich inner life, though Clinton may seem rather unobtrusive and quiet outwardly. Chelsea Clinton usually keeps to herself.

Chelsea shows great sensitivity and empathy toward others and often senses things psychically or intuitively which prove to be correct. She is tolerant, forgiving and nonjudgmental, accepting people unconditionally regardless of their flaws, mistakes, or outward appearance. Chelsea has deep compassion for the suffering of any fellow creature and she often feels the pain of others as if it were her own. Chelsea Clinton sympathizes with the needy, the disadvantaged and the misfits of society. She is capable of giving selflessly, living a life of devoted and compassionate service to others, as a healer, physician, social worker or minister. However, Clinton tends to give indiscriminately, to let others take advantage of her kindness, and to encourage the weak to remain so by becoming dependent upon her. Chelsea has little sense of boundaries, or of knowing when to say "no". Moderation and self-discipline are not her strong points.

She is a lover and a peacemaker rather than a fighter, and she tries to avoid open conflict. Clinton will patiently ignore or "tune out" problems and hope they will go away by themselves, rather than confront them directly and Clinton tends to lack the positive, fighting spirit that is sometimes necessary to overcome challenges. She is fluid, open, nonresistant and somewhat passive. Chelsea Clinton does things in a subtle, often covert, manner.

Her gifts may also lie in the realm of the creative, artistic, or musical, for she possesses great sensitivity, inspiration and limitless imagination. Chelsea Clinton has a strong affinity for beauty and love.

Her faults include a tendency to be lazy and negligent, and to wallow in self-pity rather than take strong, definite action to change her life for the better. She also tends to become so detached from her immediate environment that she lives in a disorderly, chaotic sort of hodgepodge, though this probably bothers those around Clinton more than it bothers her.

She is a private person and inclined to withdraw in very public and impersonal social settings. Chelsea Clinton prefers to work at home or in a very personal small business.

Clinton invests a lot of her creative energy into her home, family relationships, and her inner life.

There is an ongoing, subtle conflict within Chelsea Clinton, between her conscious attitudes and aspirations, and her deeper emotional and subconscious beliefs, needs, and feelings. This creates considerable inner stress and sometimes paralyzing indecision, mostly due to the fact that Chelsea may be trying to follow a path that is at odds with her subconscious desires. Chronic tightness or tension in her body may well be a signal that Chelsea Clinton is denying or suppressing the messages from her subconscious or emotional self.

Ideally, Chelsea Clinton will learn to accept the two quite different aspects of her and to express both of them. If she cannot do this, Clinton is apt to attract many relationships into her life with people who reflect her denied or repressed qualities, and who seem to make her life difficult. Highly competitive and easily provoked, Chelsea Clinton needs challenges and opponents to pit herself against. Chelsea thrives on contest and rivalry. At times her vigorous, combative way of achieving the things she wants antagonizes other people. If Chelsea Clinton uses force too often, others will turn against her and oppose her at every turn.

Chelsea Clinton aims high, dreams big, and has a tremendous sense of what she is capable of achieving. Overconfidence, grandiosity, lack of humility and/or extreme discontent in modest circumstances may be her faults. Generally, however, Clinton's great expectations and enterprising spirit lead to success. Business, especially when there is an element of risk and speculation involved, is ideally suited to Chelsea.

Her courage to face life seems to be a bit on the low side and Chelsea Clinton is prone to worry a lot. Fear of her own inadequacies could distort her perspective and deplete her strength to go on in the direction she has chosen.
