Though Geldof may seem breezy, independent and freedom-loving (as mentioned in the previous chapter), actually he is not completely happy without a partner. He enjoys being on the move and exploring new territory - but he wants a traveling companion! Fulfilling relationships that also do not restrict him is Geldof's ideal.

Harmony and balance are his keynotes. Bob Geldof instinctively understands the need to accommodate other people's interests and desires, and he is always fair and willing to meet the other person half way. Tactful, diplomatic, and with considerable social awareness, Bob does all he can to avoid conflict and discord. He expresses a spirit of cooperation and compromise and often achieves through charm and discretion what would have been impossible to achieve by a direct, forceful approach.

Getting along with others and pleasing them may be too much of importance to him, for Geldof can be too dependent on others' approval and opinions to make his own decisions. Geldof will rarely act without getting the counsel and feedback of other people. He prefers sharing and doing things together rather than on his own. He is very receptive and sensitive but has a tendency to over-idealize, making his approach to love relationships, romance or marriage somewhat unrealistic. Bob Geldof also tends to be a bit absent-minded and naive, leaving himself open for being taken, swindled or lied to.

Geldof seems to lack self-confidence and has a sense of anxiety and insecurity that has no obvious cause. Bob Geldof tends to withdraw and his outlook in general could be a bit too negative. Bob Geldof should beware of letting his emotional tension react to his physical well-being.
