Though Ann Druyan seems rather cautious and conservative (as discussed in the previous chapter), she has a much more playful, humorous side as well. Moreover, the combination of her attention to detail and cautious, circumspect approach to life, coupled with her youthful curiosity and quick mind makes Ann mentally sharp, articulate and clever.
